Partner In Pink with Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, with donations going to Cancer LifeNet at The Kaufman Cancer Center. The center served over 1250 cancer patients or their loved ones in 2014. Over 85% of the cancer patients served by Cancer LifeNet reside in Harford County.
Our funds will stay local and serve Harford and Cecil Co. Join us to raise funds and:
In 2014, our Cancer LifeNet program documented that they provided free-of-charge oncology supportive services to 1,135 people residing in Harford and Cecil Counties. 58% female, 42% male.
Of the documented 1,135 Cancer Life Net program participants, nearly 10% of them reported having a 21001 zip code/mailing address. Aberdeen was our 3rd highest, most common zip code represented.
These 1,135 people are cancer patients or loved ones who are making use of our free-of-charge Cancer LifeNet program and have been assigned a Nurse Navigator &/or an Oncology Social Worker. This figure does not represent many of our Cancer LifeNet participants who choose to participate in support groups or free-of-charge classes. Additionally, one does not need to receive their cancer treatment at the Kaufman Cancer Center to benefit from services provided through Cancer LifeNet.
